听力障碍是新生儿常见的出生缺陷.早期发现听力障碍在预防聋哑和语言发育障碍中有举足轻重的作用.唯有新生儿听力筛查才是早期发现听力障碍的有效方法,降低先天性听力障碍患儿的语言和言语损害,最终实现先天性听力障碍儿童聋而不哑,对降低我国聋哑儿的发病率,提高全民族人口素质有极其重要的意义.
