1994年,江泽民同志在纪念梅兰芳、周信芳诞辰100周年座谈会上指出:“要重视对少年儿童进行民族文化艺术的教育和熏陶。”几年来,各地为此作了不少努力,但适合小观众欣赏的优秀儿童剧仍然如凤毛麟角。看了省京剧二团(原鄂州市京剧团)娃娃班演出的一台京剧,感到很高兴。《小凤》取材于我国古代民间传说《李寄斩蛇》。它以鲜明丰满的少年英雄形象和充溢于全剧的儿童情趣,受到了小观众们的由衷喜爱。其中有两点对于我们进一步把握儿童剧创作独特的艺术规律很有启示。其一,儿童剧离不了童心。童心乃真心,乃真情实感。明代文学家李贽说过:“夫童心者,绝假纯真,最初一念之本心者。”
