本文利用熔融拉锥系统,只熔融不拉锥,获得了新型光纤耦合器的制作方法,并对其进行了性能测试和理论分析。通过大量的实验表明,该种新型光纤耦合器的性能均达到了熔融拉锥型光纤耦合器的性能指标,由于前者耦合区的直径相对于后者明显增粗,故其可靠性得到了大大的改善。此种方法还可用于其他各种光无源器件的制作,是一种值得探究和发展的新方法。
In this paper, we use the fused taper system to melt only the non-taper taper, and obtain the fabrication method of the new type fiber coupler, and conduct the performance testing and theoretical analysis. Through a large number of experiments, the performance of this new type of optical fiber coupler has reached the performance index of the fused tapered optical fiber coupler. Since the diameter of the former coupling region is obviously thicker than the latter, its reliability is greatly improved improve. This method can also be used for the fabrication of various other optical passive devices, which is a new method worth exploring and developing.
