多异瓢虫是有益的天敌,在农田中出现早、越冬迟,数最多,占各类瓢虫总数的55.0—86.8%,对麦蚜能起到一定的控制作用。据1988—1989年室内饲养观察.弄清了多异瓢虫的食蚜量及其生活习性。一、饲养方法 5月中旬,将田间采集的多异瓢虫分开雌雄编号装入干净的罐头瓶内,同时放进蚜虫,观察食蚜量。二、饲养结果室内饲养以自然光照为主,最适温度18—25℃,相对湿度50-60%。在这种生态条件下,雌性瓢虫比雄性瓢虫食量大,在日平均温度25.8℃的情况下,雌性瓢虫日食蚜平均50头左右,雄性瓢虫日食蚜平均41头。随着外界气温的下降,瓢虫食蚜量逐渐减少。
