编辑素质的再修养在编辑工作中有着丰富的内容和意义,它是和时代的进步与社会的发展密切相关联的,从这个意义上说,它是编辑学研究中一个重要的课题。这里我们首先假定编辑素质的再修养在现代社会里是必要的,大量观察到的事实为这种必要性作了注脚;在这种假定下我们注意到,即使在实际工作中编辑人员已经具备了较好的专业知识、文字能力、编辑经验等等,但在飞速发展的社会条件下,编辑人员起码在公共关系、信息运用、经营管理几个方面仍然存在着进行再修养的必要。下面试论述之。
