(五)容器育苗为了提高植树造林的成活率,国外已经采用了一种新的育苗方法——容器育苗。加拿大、日本从1965年开始用容器苗造林。实践证明,容器苗造林成活率高(一般都达90%以上,在干旱地区也达85%以上),可减少抚育管理次数,节省种苗,延长造林季节,缩短育苗时间,为造林机械化创造了条件,降低了造林成本。1.容器苗种类近年来,加拿大、日本、美国、芬兰、瑞典、西德都在研制并应用各种育苗容器。当前主要有:(1)泥炭腐殖质营养杯;(2)纸、纤维或硬纸板营养杯;(3)塑料杯、塑料弹壳和塑料筒;(4)
