英语第二课堂就是与英语第一课堂教学密切联系的课外英语活动。它是英语学习的另一种重要方式,也是对英语第一课堂教学有效的补充。通过第二课堂的有效组织,不但能把第一课堂的知识得到实际的应用,同时还锻炼了学生多方面的综合能力,第二课堂不受教学计划和教学大纲的限制,比起课堂教学,它的形式更灵活,内容更丰富多彩,更容易让学生接受的英语学习方式,充分体现了语言学习交际性和文化性的特点,所以不断丰富和实践英语第二课堂活动是高职高专院校必须重视、切实行动起来的有效英语教学模式。
The second classroom in English is the extracurricular English activities that are closely linked with the first classroom teaching in English. It is another important way of learning English, but also an effective supplement to English first class teaching.
