百慕大“死亡三角”在20世纪众多科学骗局中,百慕大“死亡三角”也许是流传最广的一例。它的起因只是第二次世界大战中几个美国飞行员的传说而已。由于百慕大地处太平洋中心,为了吸引更多的旅游者,百慕大地方政府不仅没有尝试澄清这个并不存在的“死亡三角”,反而大肆渲染。直到1980年,美、澳科学考察团才发出联合声明:“百慕大没有任何超越自然的地方。”
Bermuda's “Death Triangle” Among the many scientific scams of the 20th century, Bermuda's “Death Triangle” is perhaps the most widely circulated example. Its cause is only the legend of several U.S. pilots during the Second World War. As Bermuda is located in the Pacific Ocean center, in order to attract more tourists, the local government in Bermuda has not only failed to clarify this non-existent “Death Triangle” but instead has been making a big exaggeration. Until 1980, the U.S.-Australian scientific delegation sent a joint statement: “Bermuda does not have any place beyond nature.”
