宝钢是中国现代化程度最高、生产规模最大、品种规格最齐全的大型钢铁联合企业。作为现代化的大型钢铁联合企业,宝钢的生产和装备具有大型化、连续化、自动化的特点。这一特点决定了宝钢的生产组织和控制不能用传统的管理方式进行,而必须用现代化的管理模式来组织生产。宝钢在引进设备的同时,也引进了生产管理、技术管理、设备管理、能源管理等一系列现代化管理的理念。要贯彻这些管理理念,是绝对离不开信息系统的支持的,宝钢经过近20年的努力,建立起了自己的企业管理信息系统。
Baosteel is a large-scale iron and steel conglomerate with the highest degree of modernization in China, the largest scale of production and the most complete varieties and specifications. As a modern large-scale iron and steel conglomerate, Baosteel’s production and equipment are large-scale, continuous and automatic. This characteristic determines that Baosteel’s production organization and control can not be carried out by traditional management methods, but must adopt modern management mode to organize production. Baosteel introduced a series of modern management concepts including production management, technical management, equipment management and energy management while introducing equipment. To implement these management concepts is absolutely inseparable from the support of information systems, Baosteel through nearly 20 years of efforts to establish their own business management information system.
