热处理加热过程中的氧化脱碳问题是广大热处理工作者所关注的,它直接影响工件热处理后的质量。目前一般热处理厂家都采用硼酸酒精或木炭加铸铁屑进行保护,不但操作麻烦,而且也浪费能源,效果还不理想。针对这种现状,北京正大信息应用技术研究所研制了一种GH—A型保护剂,并于1991年11月19日通过了北京市机械工业管理局组织的专家鉴定。鉴定会上专家们一致认为,该保护剂无毒、易配制、使用操作简便、价格低廉,使用效果明显优于硼酸酒精保护
