我场地处江苏无锡蠡园对面的大浮山区。1972年开始种茶,五年来,在毛主席革命路线指引下,在上级党委的正确领导下,坚持领导、科技人员、工人三结合,大搞群众性科学实验运动,不断探索茶叶速生丰产的客观规律,收到了良好的效果。1972年建立的40亩福丁大白茶速生丰产试验园,目前平均树高84厘米,树幅120厘米,1977年已开始投产,平均亩产鲜叶792.5斤,折干茶173.2斤。其中9亩重点试验园,树高90厘米,树幅134厘米,1974年即开始打顶采叶,1976年投产,1977年平均亩产鲜叶1150斤,折干茶252斤,茶势长势良好,茶叶品质优良,达到了速生丰产的目的。（表1.2）
