The “Summary of Maternal and Child Health Service and Expenditure Research” project hosted by the Shanghai Medical University and jointly conducted by the Ministry of Health and the United Nations Children’s Fund was held on April 26-29 at Shanghai Medical University. This topic carried out a three-year study on the status and requirements of the most important maternal and child health services and funds in China’s PHC, and achieved certain results. It is the first time that the study of this topic has been carried out in China. It marks that the cause of maternity and child health has been promoted to scientific management.
