久负盛名的美国胸外科学会(American association for thoracic surgery,AATS)第94届会议于2014年4月26日至30日在加拿大多伦多召开。AATS成立于20世纪初,经过近百年的历练,一年一度的AATS年会以其形式多样、注重学术性和新颖性以及参会人员的高素质、高学术水准而著称,是公认的心胸血管外科领域的国际顶级盛会,吸引着来自世界各地的心胸外科医生远涉重洋积极参与。值得庆祝的是本届大会正式宣布,北京安贞医院心脏外科中心主任孙立忠教授获选成为AATS学会
The 94th Annual Meeting of the prestigious American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) was held in Toronto, Canada, from April 26 to 30, 2014. AATS was founded in the early 20th century. After nearly a hundred years of experience, the annual AATS Annual Conference is known for its diversity of forms, emphasis on scholarship and novelty as well as high quality and academic standards of participants. International top-level event in the field of surgery, attracting cardiothoracic surgeons from all over the world actively involved in the ocean. It is worth celebrating that this conference officially announced that Professor Sun Lizhong, director of the Cardiac Surgery Center of Beijing Anzhen Hospital, was selected as the AATS Society
