“从乌克兰回家”是我2009年夏天回家乡办个展时用的主题,它有两层含义:第一层说明了我从乌克兰留学归来,回家乡办展览这一事实;另一层含义则暗示了我在绘画上的“回家”之路,即从西方回到东方,汲取中国传统文化的营养,探索自己的油画语言。在乌克兰哈尔科夫师范大学学习时,我经常被问到关于中国的“道”“气”“阴阳”“道家思想对中国绘画的影响”等,足见传统中国绘画艺术的思想对西方绘画的影响。
