青年作为社会中最为活跃、最有生气的群体,承担着推动文化发展和文化繁荣的历史使命,在青年中开展文化自觉教育,是青年承担文化使命的客观需要,也是青年实现自身发展的必然要求。青年文化自觉教育的具体内容包括自觉地认识和扬弃文化,自觉地提升文化内涵,自觉地进行文化创新。对青年开展文化自觉教育,要坚持主导性与多样性教育相结合,坚持理论教育与实践教育相结合,坚持文化自觉、文化自信与文化自强教育相结合。
