汕头经济特区位于广东省汕头市东南郊的滨海地带,区域面积52.6平方公里。自1981年起步建设以来,初步建成了与工业区相配套的港口区、农业水产区、金融商业区、旅游区、住宅区和一批基础设施。全区累计完成基建投资16.12亿元,工业总产值22.31亿元,实际利用外资1.65亿美元,外贸出口总值9.8亿美元,财政总收入5.7亿元。
Shantou Special Economic Zone is located in the coastal zone of the southeastern suburb of Shantou in Guangdong Province, covering an area of 52.6 square kilometers. Since its construction in 1981, a port area, an agricultural and fishery area, a financial and commercial area, a tourist area, a residential area and a batch of infrastructures have been basically completed. The region has completed a total investment of 1.612 billion yuan of capital construction, industrial output 2.231 billion yuan, the actual utilization of foreign capital of 165 million U.S. dollars, foreign trade exports 980 million U.S. dollars, total fiscal revenue 570 million yuan.
