在去年春天的全国“两会”上,温家宝总理在《政府工作报告》中,首次明确提出“促进中部地区崛起”。此后的一年里,“中部崛起”成为中部地区各省擘划经济蓝图时使用频率最高的词汇。

In the “two sessions” held last spring in the country, Premier Wen Jiabao explicitly proposed for the first time in his “Report on the Work of the Government” that “promoting the rise of the central region”. In the ensuing year, “Rise of Central China” became the most frequently used word in the planning of economic blueprints in various provinces in the Central Region.
