Queer British Art will be the first feature show dedicated to British queer art and the fiftieth anniversary of the rights of English gay groups for affirmative and anti-discrimination. The exhibition will focus on works of art related to the identity of LGBTQ groups from 1867 to 1967 and explore how artists express their views on sex and gender under the established terms and discourse at the time. Queer art was originally thought of as “jesting”, pornography, and is now being given more political and generalization.
