自国门打开以来,中国画就被卷入了东西方文化交流和冲突的赛场。由于长期的闭门操练,系统机能疏于作应对社会变革的自觉调整,面对来自西方的各种诱惑和冲击,人们普遍感到取向迷茫,又心力不济,而勉力应战,难免屡屡处于弱势,以至中国画的悲观论时有喧嚣。的确,随着改革开放的进一步深入,和我们在其他领域所取得的巨大成就比较起来,现代中国美术,尤其是中国画创作,让人感到怎么都“提不起劲”,振奋不起精神,骄傲不起来,也自豪不起来。尽管场外的批评指导在那里拉拉队似的起劲呼喊“现实关
