The National Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has lasted for four years, is a major special subject, “Study on the Safety of Chinese Aristolochic Acids,” recently completed by the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guang’anmen Hospital, the Ministry of Health China-Japan Friendship Hospital and the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Successfully passed the acceptance of the expert group. At the end of the last century, the incidents of renal failure caused by Guan Mu Tong, Guang Fang Ji and their related preparations caused heights in the medical community at home and abroad.
