2008年1月,阳泉市中级人民法院对备受全省人民关注的原临汾市委常委、宣传部长王月喜被控受贿、贪污一案做出一审判决:以受贿罪判处王月喜有期徒刑9年;以贪污罪判处有期徒刑6年,决定对其执行有期徒刑12年。王月喜现年51岁,历任山西省永和县县委书记,霍州市委书记,临汾市委常委、宣传部长,山西师范大学党委副书记等职。2007年3月26日被省纪委立案调查。2007年9月1日被逮捕。
In January 2008, Yangquan Intermediate People’s Court made a verdict of first instance against Wang Yuexiu, former member of the Standing Committee and Propaganda Department of the Linfen Municipal Committee, who was most concerned by the people in the province. He was convicted of taking bribes and embezzling cases: Wang Yuexi was sentenced to 9 years’ imprisonment for taking bribes; Sentenced him to imprisonment for six years and decided to imprison him for 12 years. Wang Yuexi, 51, has served successively as secretary of Party Committee of Yonghe County in Shanxi Province, secretary of Huozhou Party Committee, member of Standing Committee of Linfen Municipal Party Committee, propaganda minister and deputy party secretary of Shanxi Normal University. March 26, 2007 by the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection investigation. September 1, 2007 was arrested.
