《庄子》中有《寓言》一篇,但庄子时代并无明确的寓言文体意识。以今天通用的标准审视《庄子》中大量的寄言于人的故事,可以看作是寓言。战国之世,寓言只是作为论辩的辅助手段被使用,未成为独立的文体。与其它诸子寓言比较,《庄子》寓言有其独特的品格。
There is a “parable” in Zhuangzi, but there is no clear sense of allegorical style in Zhuangzi’s time. Using the common standards today to examine the numerous stories of people in Zhuangzi can be regarded as an allegory. In the Warring States period, the parable was used only as an adjunct to arguments and did not become an independent style. Compared with other fables, the fable of “Zhuangzi” has its own unique character.
