《曹雪芹故居》这幅油画(见本期封三图),是我1986年创作的。当时应北京电影学院美术系之约,给培训班上油画写生课,我和学生们一起住在离北京植物园很近的红旗村部队大院里。那时北京曹雪芹纪念馆已建立,就在北京植物园里的一个称作正白旗的小山村里。山村也因曹雪芹这位文化伟人——我国古典四大名著之一《红楼梦》作者的胜名而扬名四海。选择这样的胜景为我们绘画的题材内容确实太合适了。《红楼梦》这部伟大的现实主义文学作品真实地描写了中国封建社会生活的各个领
Former Residence of Cao Xueqin This painting (see the cover of this issue) was created by me in 1986. At that time, the Art Department of Beijing Film Academy should make an appointment for an oil painting sketching class in the training class. Together with the students, I lived in the compound of Hongqi Village, near Beijing Botanical Garden. At that time, the Beijing Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall was established, in a small mountain village in Beijing Botanical Garden called Zhengbai Banner. The village is also famous for Cao Xueqin, a great man of culture - one of the four classic Chinese classic books, entitled “A Dream of Red Mansions,” and is famous all over the world. The theme of choosing such a scene for our painting is really appropriate. The great realistic literature of “Dream of Red Mansions” truly depicts the life of feudal society in China
