Insulin levels,insulin resistance,and leptin levels were evaluated in 47women who developed o varian hyperstim-ulation syndrome (OHSS)after participation in assisted reproduction technologies program s and in 47matched controls who did not develop such a complication.Analysis of the results in relation to underly ing polycystic ovarian syndrome and hyperinsulinemia reve aled no association of insulin levels,insulin resistance,and leptin levels with the development of OHSS.
