从古至今,除极少数的部族外,世界范围内普遍存在对女性的偏见、贬低、歧视和压制。古希腊的亚里士多德曾说:“女性之所以是女性,是因为她缺少某种特质,我们应当看到,女性的本性先天就有缺陷,因而在折磨着她。”随着社会的进步及女性为争取自身的平等和自由而进行的不屈不挠的抗争,人们对女性的认识和态度有了极大改善,女性取得了同男性一样的选举及受教育的权利,但根深蒂固的对女性的偏见和歧视仍能在很多方面表现出来。
Since ancient times, with the exception of a very small number of tribes, widespread prejudice, devaluation, discrimination and repression against women worldwide. Aristotle of ancient Greece once said: “Women are women because of the lack of certain traits. We should see that the nature of women is flawed and thus afflicts her.” With Progress in society and women’s indomitable resistance to their own equality and freedom have greatly improved people’s awareness and attitude towards women. Women have acquired the same rights as men to vote and receive education. However, the deep-rooted right Prejudice and discrimination against women can still be manifested in many ways.
