庐江县化肥厂1989年3月15日突然停电,尽管在岗职工采取了紧急停车处理措施,但两小时,仍导致造气岗位的空气总管发生爆炸,炸毁风机一台,击坏风机开关柜一个,两间房屋面被掀掉,部分风机管道和一只Dg200闸阀被炸毁。幸亏当时现场无人,才未发生人身伤亡事故。造成这次事故的主要原因是:①突然停电使煤气倒入空气管道,管道内混合气体达到爆炸极限;②突然停电后液压阀未恢复到安全停车位置;③1#炉吹风阀未落到安全位置,高压罐顶端没有压缩(高压)空气,未能起保护作用。为杜绝突然停电后发生爆炸事故,该厂制订了停电后必须采取的6条安全措施: (1)停电后应立即打开造气炉炉盖,尽快卸压(制气把无论处于什么位置都不会发生爆炸危险)。
