以麦克斯韦方程组为依据推导了单色平面光波在电光晶体内传播时满足的无冗余本征方程,将电光晶体光学特性的求解问题转换为求取二维矩阵的特征值问题;基于二维矩阵,提出了晶体均匀性的表征方法;在此基础上,推导了电光晶体的分布参数琼斯矩阵模型;进一步地,把电场对晶体光学性质的影响看作微扰,得到了琼斯矩阵的等效集中参数模型。
Based on the Maxwell equations, the nonredundant eigenvalue equation of the monochromatic plane wave propagating in the electro-optic crystal is deduced. The problem of solving the electro-optical crystal’s optical characteristics is transformed into the eigenvalue problem of obtaining the two-dimensional matrix. Based on the two-dimensional matrix, The characterization method of crystal homogeneity is put forward. On the basis of this, the Jones matrix model of distribution parameters of electro-optic crystal is deduced. Furthermore, the influence of electric field on the optical properties is considered as perturbation, and the equivalent concentration parameter of Jones matrix is obtained model.
