本文从百年前英语教育兴起的背景谈起,到全球化进程进一步加快的今天,我国和其他各国的交流越来越多,英语教育也变得越来越重要。但是由于我国现行教育制度的不足,以及语言教育中仍然使用传统的翻译法,使得英语教育出现了很大的弊端,出现了“费时低效”、“哑巴英语”等现象,不能提高学生英语的综合能力。针对这种现象,笔者提出了相应的对策,从现行制度、教师及学生三方面出发,提出以人为本的教育方式,以期达到大学英语教育的真正目标,发挥出英语作为一种交流工具的作用。
This article starts with the background of the rise of English education a century ago. As the process of globalization accelerates further, the communication between our country and other countries is increasing, and English education is becoming more and more important. However, due to the deficiency of the current education system in our country and the still use of the traditional translation method in language education, there are some disadvantages in English education, such as “time-consuming and inefficient”, “mute English” and so on. Improve students’ comprehensive ability in English. In response to this phenomenon, the author puts forward corresponding countermeasures. Based on the current system, teachers and students, this paper proposes a people-oriented approach to education, with a view to achieving the true goal of college English education and playing the role of English as a communication tool.
