罗伯特·亚历山大·蒙代尔1999年荣获诺贝尔经济学奖。早在60年代就富有远见地预言,在一个更加开放的经济体系中,汇率变动和资本高度流动对经济政策会产生极大影响,他的理论及实践促进了欧元的顺利出台,因此被尊称为“欧元之父”。
Robert Alexander Mondale won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1999. As far back as the early 1960s forecasted that in a more open economy, changes in exchange rates and high capital flows will have a significant impact on economic policies. His theories and practices have contributed to the smooth introduction of the euro and are therefore called “Father of Euro ”.
