随着素质教育的进一步实施,英语课堂教学的结构和模式正在发生内在的变革。本文从农村中学英语教学的实际出发,阐述了开展英语课外活动有利于调动学生学习英语的积极性,培养学生对英语学习的兴趣;有利于建立和谐、开放性的师生关系;有助于巩固、加深、拓宽课堂上学到的知识,扩大学生视野;促进本学科与其它学科的相互渗透和联系,克服学科课程割裂知识的弊端。在阐述中,大胆设想英语课外活动的模式,以达到英语教学在课堂内外的有机结合,促进中学生全面发展。
With the further implementation of quality education, the structure and mode of English classroom teaching is undergoing internal changes. Based on the actual conditions of English teaching in rural middle schools, this paper expounds the enthusiasm of carrying out English extracurricular activities to arouse students ’learning English and cultivates students’ interest in learning English.
