在全球化的影响日益明显的趋势下,越来越多的大城市开始注重城市公示语的双语化,即英汉两种语言的应用。近年来,随着地铁的快速建设,西安已经进入了地铁时代。因此,地铁中的公示语翻译就显得尤为重要。本文以西安市地铁系统公示语翻译为例,从认知语用学视角出发,借助关联理论,通过对具体实例的翻译过程的详细地、动态地分析和评述,探讨西安地铁中公示语翻译中的认知语用规律,提高翻译质量,避免语用失误,以提升城市形象,坚持文化自信。
With the increasingly obvious influence of globalization, more and more big cities are beginning to pay attention to the bilingualization of urban public signs, that is, the application of both English and Chinese. In recent years, with the rapid construction of the subway, Xi’an has entered the subway era. Therefore, the translation of public signs in the subway is particularly important. Taking the translation of the public signs of the subway system in Xi’an as an example, from the perspective of cognitive pragmatics, this article uses the relevance theory to analyze the translation process of specific examples in detail and dynamically to explore the translation of the public signs in Xi’an Subway Cognitive and pragmatic rules to improve the quality of translation, to avoid pragmatic failure to enhance the city image, adhere to cultural self-confidence.
