人物档案叶北洋,福建省宁德市古田县人,1992年移居南非,著名南非华侨领袖,全非洲中国和平统一促进会会长,南非中华工商总会会长。回忆起十几年前,自己刚到南非时的情景,叶北洋说最早的时候在南非的中国人只有二三十人,现在在南非仅福建人有七、八万,几乎每个村子都有。叶北洋身材高大、性情随和,说话很简洁也很干脆,总是面带微笑。面对记者,他很坦然,平静得仿佛只是在跟一个素不相识的人讲一段他人的故事。在他平和的讲述中,他将自己演绎的传奇褪去色彩,还原成最普通最真实的商人形象。
