美丽的海滨城市青岛如今也有了自己的民俗学研究组织,1998年7月30日青岛市民俗学会宣告成立。 近十几年来,青岛市的专业和业余民俗学工作者在民俗的调查和研究方面做出了突出的成绩,相继出版了《中国民俗文化论》（曲金良）、《中国古代民俗》（郭泮溪）、《美国民俗学》（李扬译）等著译作品,引起了国内外学术界的关注。尤其是在民间故事搜集整理方面,青岛市的民俗学者和民间文艺工作者做了大量工作,出版了一批故事
Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city, now has its own folklore research organization. On July 30, 1998, the Qingdao Folklore Society was proclaimed. Over the past decade or so, professional and amateur folklore workers in Qingdao have made outstanding achievements in the field of folklore investigation and research. They have successively published “Chinese Folk Culture” (Qu Jinliang), “Ancient Chinese Folk Customs” (Guo Panxi ), “American Folklore” (Li Yang translation) and other works of translation, aroused the concern of academics at home and abroad.
