近20年志苑繁荣,已有大量省、市、县(区)志问世,这是有目共睹的事实。笔者从事方志事业有年,并一直关注着志坛出现的新貌,可以说充满喜悦,但又心存忧虑。喜的是,志书的内容日见丰厚,形式更加规范;忧的是,志书设计大同小异,在当今城镇出现千域一貌的同时,作为地情载体的方志也多少呈现出千志一面的景象。早年有人曾经提问,如果全国2000多个县编修出来的志书都一个样的设计、体例,究竟是成功还是失败?这个问题仍然值得思考。它涉及
