Objective To investigate the relationship between abnormal blood glucose level and clinical index in neonates with asphyxia and to evaluate the significance of monitoring blood glucose level in judging the severity and prognosis of asphyxia. Methods A retrospective analysis of 96 cases of newly diagnosed asphyxia newborns admitted 24,72 hours of blood glucose levels and the relationship between the severity of the disease. The results showed that: 1 the heavier the degree of asphyxia, the higher the incidence of abnormal blood glucose, the longer the duration; 2 mild asphyxia children with hypoglycemia abnormalities, and severe asphyxia children with hyperglycemia; Poor blood glucose, high levels of asphyxia in children with poor prognosis. Conclusion Asphyxia children with regular monitoring of blood glucose after birth, especially children with severe asphyxia should be changes in blood glucose as a routine diagnostic criteria and prognosis of the secondary indicators
