第三届亚洲大洋洲生物化学大会于1983年11月29日至12月2日在泰国曼谷皇家兰花饭店举行,中国生物化学会理事长王应睐,理事任邦哲、林其谁参加了大会。亚洲大洋洲生物化学协会(FAOB)是国际生物化学联合会下属的一个区域性组织,1972年由澳大利亚、印度、日本三国的生化协会发起组织。该组织目前有十五个国家或地区的成员。从1977年起FAOB组织了多次学术活动:1977年在日本召开第一届大会,1980年在印度召开了第二届大会。此外,1978年在新加坡,1979年在吉隆坡,1981年在巴厘分别举行了学术讨论会。 383名各国生物化学家出席了第三届FAOB大会。在开幕式上泰国皇家枢密院C.Na Sylvanta博士
The 3rd Asia Oceania Biochemistry Conference was held at the Royal Orchid Hotel Bangkok, Thailand from November 29 to December 2, 1983 with Wang Yinglai, chairman of Chinese Society of Biochemistry, director Ren Bangzhe and Lin Qirui participating in the conference. The Asian Oceania Biochemistry Association (FAOB) is a regional organization affiliated with the International Federation of Biochemistry, organized by the Biochemical Association of Australia, India and Japan in 1972. The organization currently has 15 member countries. Since 1977, FAOB has organized several academic activities: the first congress was held in Japan in 1977 and the second congress in India in 1980. In addition, a colloquium was held in Singapore in 1978, Kuala Lumpur in 1979 and Bali in 1981 respectively. 383 biochemists attended the 3rd FAOB Congress. At the opening ceremony Dr. C.
