1982年9月1日至11日,党的第十二次全国代表大会在北京举行。出席大会的正式代表1545名,候补代表145名,代表着3900万党员。邓小平在开幕词中强调指出:“把马克思主义的普遍真理同我国的具体实际结合起来,走自己的道路,建设有中国特色的社会主义,这就是我们总结长期历史经验得出的基本结论。”邓小平提出的关于建设有中国特色社会主义的思想,是十二大的指导思想,也是整个新的历史时期改革开放和现代化建设的指导思想。大会提出的党在新的历史时期的总任务是:团结全国各族人民,自力更生,艰苦奋斗,逐步实现工业、农业、国防和科学技术的现代化,把我国建设成高度文明、高度民主的社会主义国家。大会确定:从1981年到本世纪末的20年,我
From September 1 to September 1, 1982, the 12th National Party Congress was held in Beijing. There were 1545 official representatives, 145 alternate representatives, and 39 million Party members. In his opening address, Deng Xiaoping emphasized that “combining the universal truth of Marxism with the concrete reality of our country, taking our own path and building socialism with Chinese characteristics is the basic conclusion we draw from our long-term historical experience.” Deng Xiaoping’s idea of building socialism with Chinese characteristics is the guiding ideology of the 12th National Congress and the guiding ideology of reform, opening up and modernization throughout the new historical period.
