方亨咸(1620—1679)小字姐哥,字吉偶,号邵村、龙瞑、心童道士,安徽桐城人。拱乾子。顺治四年(1647)进士,官御史。工诗善画,亦擅书法,与程正揆、顾大申时称鼎足。最喜嘉名老少年方亨咸行书《秋圃》诗轴,我极喜爱。先说诗妙:“秋在非晴非雨天,离披红满尺阶前;笑向如雾看花眼,最喜嘉名老少年。”三秋冷艳,绮丽莫名,俨然一幅甘烈酣畅的《秋圃丽景》,意在白阳,韵接南田,自得此书,每写秋色,皆录诗于其上。
