In daily teaching, we find that some students work very hard on English, have a lot of words and grammar, but find it hard to read English reading articles and communicate in English. The reason of this phenomenon is the teacher’s teaching. The student’s school violates the basic rules of language learning, neglects the cultivation of language sense, and the teaching stays in exam-oriented education. In September 2012, our school introduced “Model English” as a textbook to carry out the experiment of English language reading preparation in each class of the second grade, so as to cultivate students’ sense of English language and promote learning
