“美育者,应用美学之理论于教育,以陶养感情为目的者也。”北大校长蔡元培在提出在宗教中解放美育的口号之前,美育作为一个概念,首次被德国剧作家、诗人席勒所使用。而美,似乎深入到我们生活的方方面面,但是又很难被定义,就像是一种理性与感性的完美统一。美育,也可以说是美术教育或者审美教育,一般理解就是教会学生对美的感知和联想。艺术教育作为美术教育最核心的内容和最主要的途径,只有在完成了对于艺术教育的任务基础之上才能够实现其审美教育的目标。
