李伯安(1944-1998),河南洛阳人,20世纪末一位漠视功名、不求闻达、默默耕耘于国画人物之苑的艺术赤子。他广采博纳,融汇中西,大大地丰富了国画人物艺术语言的表现力。他痴情于北方老农,画风老辣而雄放。他历时十载创作的人物长卷《走出巴颜喀拉》,以它高昂的立意、恢宏的气象、精湛的刻画和独具个性的艺术语言,把20世纪中国的长卷水墨人物创作推上了一个新的高峰。1998年5月2日,画家倒在了正在创作中的人物长卷之前,他把自己完全地融进了“巴颜喀拉”那一派漫天皆白寥廓无垠的圣境。 人类美术史不会忘记李伯安。 ——乙丙
