磁山是“磁山文化”的发祥地，距今有７３００ 年的历史了，也是中国三大露天铁矿之一。矿石极具磁力，能轻易吸起一枚大铁钉，因称磁山。常年裸露在外的铁矿石因氧化而成红色，又称红山。在磁山，曾经有过这样一个传说：有一匹金马驹，就藏在红色的山里，守着一个藏满宝藏的山洞。谁能找到这匹金马驹，谁就能找到山洞的钥匙，得到这些宝藏。有一个年轻人，梦到了这匹金马驹，经过多方寻找，不见踪景，年轻人失望之极，气绝身亡。如今，在磁山脚下，有这样一群人，他们经过艰苦奋斗，已经找到了这匹金马驹，打开通往宝藏的大门。他们就是──
