去年九月,笔者赴港采访期间,接触了不少六十年代以后去港的旅港同胞,从他们的情怀、气度、抱负,我感受到了他们的爱国热情。下面记述两则实例。两年前,香港黄河实业集团公司在帮助内地引进三万台计算器时,该公司一个职员受外商贿赂,准备以次货充好货运入内地。此事被该公司的董事会发现后,当即把这批计算器全部就地处理,并为此承受了一百五十万元港币的损失。提起这间公司,内地许多厂家并不陌生,因为这间公司的生意遍及祖国南北。和它打过交道的内地厂家,留有一个共同印象,就是可以放心地跟这个贸易伙伴合作。这间公司的董事会七个人,有六个是前几年从内地迁居香港的大学生,年纪都在四十上下。董事长黄先生,原是中山大学物理系的学生;常务董事周先生,原是北京铁道学院学生。这间公司既与内地合资办厂,办医院,也帮助搞引进,同时还承接工程。从一九八二年以来,他们已先后替内地引进先进设备十五宗,包括邯郸的塑料玩具生产线,洛阳的电阻磁机体接插件生产线,全自动电镀生
Last September, in my interview with Hong Kong, I came into contact with many compatriots in Hong Kong who arrived in Hong Kong after the 1960s. From their feelings, tolerance and aspirations, I felt their patriotic enthusiasm. The following describes two examples. Two years ago, when Hong Kong Huanghe Industrial Group Company helped introduce 30,000 calculators into the Mainland, one of the company’s employees was bribed by foreign personnel and was ready to stockpile goodies for cargo shipment into the Mainland. After the incident was discovered by the board of directors of the company, the calculators were all disposed of locally and suffered a loss of 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars. Mention this company, many mainland manufacturers is no stranger to, because the company’s business throughout the north and south. And it has dealt with the mainland manufacturers, leaving a common impression, it is safe to work with this trading partner. Seven of the company’s board of directors, six of whom were graduating from Hong Kong in the Mainland a few years ago, are over forty years old.
