鼻咽癌是头颈部最常见的肿瘤,在CT应用之前,对鼻咽癌的分期主要根据临床检查(包括直达鼻咽镜和X线摄影)。由于检查方法的受限,使一些粘膜下肿瘤及肿瘤在粘膜下浸润的范围和轻度的颅底骨破坏难以发现。CT扫描有较高的密度分辨率,采用薄层扫描,能够准确地显示病变的范围并能及早地发现颅底破坏,达到准确诊断的目的。资料和方法经临床检查和病理证实的鼻咽癌157例,男115例,女42例,年龄13~70岁之间。放疗前全部行CT检查,54例同时行X线摄影。
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is the most common tumor in the head and neck. Prior to CT application, staging of nasopharyngeal carcinoma was based primarily on clinical examinations (including direct nasopharyngeal and X-ray photography). Due to the limitations of examination methods, it is difficult to detect submucosal tumors and the extent of submucosal infiltration and mild skull base destruction. CT scans have higher density resolution and use thin-layer scans to accurately display the extent of lesions and to detect skull base destruction early enough for accurate diagnosis. Data and Methods 157 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were confirmed by clinical examination and pathology. There were 115 males and 42 females, aged between 13 and 70 years old. CT examinations were performed before radiotherapy and 54 patients underwent X-ray photography.
