June 1979 ~ June 25 ~ 25 Central North Office and the Ministry of Health co-chaired a meeting in Shenyang in northern endemic disease scientific research work. The meeting was attended by 123 leading officials from the 16 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the north, members of the Northern Endemic Disease Science Commission and relevant professionals. Comrade Li De-sheng, leader of the Northern Party Leadership Group of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Comrade Ji Zong-qun, minister in charge of the Central Ministry of Health, also attended the meeting and delivered an important speech.
