吴仰曾(1861年-1939年),原名仲泰,字述三,广东四会县四会镇东门人。1872年(清同治十一年),11岁的吴仰曾成为清廷第一批派遣的公费留美幼童。曾在哥伦比亚大学矿冶学院攻读,尚未毕业便因清政府召回而回国。回国后进入开平矿务局。1886年(清光绪十二年)再赴英国学习矿冶,4年后毕业于伦敦皇家矿业学院。此后,吴仰曾先后在墨西哥、瑞典、西班牙等国办理矿务。
Wu Yang Zeng (1861 - 1939), formerly known as Zhongtai, the word three, four-county town of Donghui, four-county in Guangdong. 1872 (Qing Tongzhi eleven years), 11-year-old Wu Yang has become the Qing Dynasty sent the first batch of public expenses to the United States and young children. He studied at the School of Mines and Metallurgy at Columbia University and returned to China without prior graduation because of the recall by the Qing government. After returning to Kaiping Mining Bureau. In 1886 (twelve years of Emperor Guangxu) went to the United Kingdom to study mining and metallurgy, four years after graduating from the Royal Institute of Mining in London. Since then, Wu Yang has worked in Mexico, Sweden, Spain and other countries for mining.
