Zhangjiagang is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Suzhou. It is an emerging port industrial city at the junction of the two major economic development zones along the coast and the Yangtze River. It is one of the county-level cities with the most comprehensive strength in China. Since 1994, the economic strength of Zhangjiagang has always ranked among the top three counties in the country. At present, the city has basically formed a new pattern of mixed economic development with industry as the mainstay, economies of scale, private economy, and external economy “three pillars”. In the pilot construction of the typical power supply mode in small towns in Jiangsu Province, Zhangjiagang City launched a Class A pilot.
