The 2nd Session of the Editorial Board of Frontiers of Law in China (FLC) was held in Renmin University Law Building on May 23,2014.Editorial members talked about new changes,current challenges and the future development of FLC.
Associate Editor-in-Chief Prof.ZHU Yah (Renmin University) reported the recent changes since last year.He said that FLC aspires to provide the best platform for the communication of Chinese law.To achieve this,the editorial board enlarged its editor group to include 31 editors from 14 countries;and recently the board recruited several young scholars from the Law School of Renmin University whose academic background covered Europe,American and East Asia countries.In addition,the editorial board created several new columns to collect specialist articles,for example,the "Focus" section attempts to present view points of challenging legal issues from or about China;the "Data Analysis" section provides the most up-to date statistics of the development Chinese legal system,and the "Academic News" section gives an update of recent legal conferences and seminars held in China.He also introduced a serious of topics for the future "Focus" section.
