自从种植棕榈植物的热潮在华南地区兴旺之后,笔者近日在某些城市里见到一些令人惋惜的现象。某些单位为了赶上潮流,要显示当地财力,不问根由地把某些已经种上数十年的老树砍下,改种上大王椰子。为此,本文试图探讨树木与棕榈在园林设计上的相互关系,令两者能够共存共荣。本文所提的“树木”是指阔叶树种,而针叶树种和松柏等等不包括在内。在过去三十年来西式的园林设计里,植物的选配,基本上都是按照以下的程序来进行:高大乔木作为立体植物,棕榈植物作为主体陪衬,灌木植物作为主体植物下面填补空间及添加色彩,
Since the boom of planting palm plants flourished in southern China, the author recently saw some regrettable phenomena in some cities. In order to catch up with the trend, some units have to display local financial resources and cut down some of the old trees that have been planted for decades before they are planted. For this reason, this paper attempts to explore the relationship between trees and palms in garden design, so that they can coexist and co-prosper. The “trees” mentioned in this paper refer to hardwood species, while conifer species, conifers, etc. are not included. In Western-style garden design for the past three decades, the matching of plants has basically been carried out according to the following procedures: tall trees are used as three-dimensional plants, palm plants are used as the main part, and shrubs are used as the main plants to fill in spaces and add color below. ,
