两年来,我省爱国卫生运动在各级党、政领导下已取得显著成绩,病媒昆虫的繁殖孳生和传染病的发生与流行均大为减少,群众预防疾病的卫生知识水平普遍有所提高,对于改善卫生状况增进人民健康和发展生产起了很大作用。但旧社会长期遗留给人民群众的迷信和不卫生的习惯,尚未完全消除。从最近两年来全省各地发病情况来看,麻疹、痢疾等主要传染病依然严重危害着人民的健康和生命,今年春季仅临县一处恤发现麻疹患者两万余人,死亡千余人。因此,加强对麻疹、痢疾等主要传染病的防治工作,是我省爱国卫生运动在今后一定时期内的中心任务。
In the past two years, the Patriotic Health Campaign in our province has made remarkable achievements under the leadership of the party and government at all levels. The breeding and infectious diseases of vector-borne insects have greatly reduced the incidence and prevalence of infectious diseases, and the public has generally raised the level of hygiene knowledge for disease prevention Has played a significant role in improving the health status, improving people’s health and developing production. However, the superstitions and unhealthy habits left over from the old society to the people for so long have not been completely eliminated. From the incidence of the disease in different parts of the province in recent two years, major infectious diseases such as measles and dysentery are still seriously endangering the health and lives of the people. Only more than 20,000 measles patients and more than 1,000 deaths were found in this spring’s spring alone. Therefore, strengthening prevention and control of major infectious diseases such as measles and dysentery is the central task of our province’s patriotic health campaign in a certain period in the future.
